Women’s Leadership Network
United Way of the Capital Region’s Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) is an alliance of dynamic women who are changing our community through philanthropy and volunteerism. Great things happen when we LIVE UNITED!
Community Leadership
Conversations With Women Who Make a Difference: Hear from female leaders in our community and learn how you can make a difference through United Way.
Volunteering
Exclusive Opportunities: Volunteer on projects to help empower independence and move families forward through access to health care, basic needs, school readiness and workforce development.
In 2023, members celebrated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, by assembling literacy kits for children in our Ready for School, Ready to Succeed program, dental kits for participants in our Contact to Care program and bags of essential items for participants in our Road to Success program. We also held two Vino & Volunteering events to network, have fun and give back to United Way.
Giving
Annual Campaign: In 2022, 710 WLN members contributed $2,339,110 to benefit our community through United Way.
