Access to Health Care
In “Life in the Capital Region: 2014 Assessment of Our Community,” we learned that significant health disparities exist within Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry counties, and more than 43,000 local residents lack health insurance.
Based on this information, United Way of the Capital Region identified lack of access to health care as a priority issue and convened an expert community task force to help create potential strategies to address this problem.
