We launched this community initiative to prepare children academically and socially for kindergarten. We currently partner with 11 school districts which include 19 elementary schools in Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry counties. Our Ready for School, Ready to Succeed community initiative prepares children academically and socially for kindergarten. The program employs liaisons who engage children and families with educational workshops and connect families to affordable preschools when available. Research shows high-quality pre-K programs increase a child’s chances of succeeding in school.
Ready for School, Ready to Succeed Results

Is Your Child Ready for School?
Ready for School, Ready to Succeed provides free virtual and in-person workshops for children ages 3 to 5 (and their families) to prepare them for kindergarten. We currently partner with 11 school districts which include 19 elementary schools in Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry counties.
