Meet United Way Hand-Raiser Ryan Brown
Ryan Brown is senior manager at Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz, CPAs and a United Way of the Capital Region donor and volunteer. He also serves as vice chair of United Way’s Bridges Society.
Ryan has a favorite quote that guides his philanthropic efforts - “To whom much is given, much is expected.” This simple, yet powerful, quote is always in back of his mind, and he finds kindred spirits in his fellow volunteers and donors at United Way.
Having been involved with United Way for eight years, he identifies with the goal of making the community a better place, especially when it comes to health care and education.
Ryan appreciates the stable home life he had growing up with attentive and involved parents. As a father now himself, he understands that having the right start in life can make a huge difference in a child’s life. He also recognizes how important it is that we positively impact children throughout our community during those formative years.
